You could be eligible for a research study!
The Cardiac Prevention Center at Weill Medical College of Cornell University is conducting a research trial for people with high blood pressure and normal or mildly elevated cholesterol levels.
We are seeking men and women, between 18 and 80 years of age, with high blood pressure and normal or mildly elevated cholesterol levels to participate in a research trial lasting 35 weeks. Each participant will be assigned to one of two Food & Drug Administration approved drugs: Coreg-MR (Carvedilol Phosphate Modified Release) or Toprol XL (Metoprolol Succinate)
If you are eligible to participate in this research study you will receive
the following at no cost:
Physical Exam
Laboratory Testing
Research Related Care
$25 per visit for travel expenses
